Here are 5 perfumes to invest in 2020 – I LOVED them in 2019 and will be definitely wearing them in 2020 as well because they’re THAT good. I hope you’ll enjoy.
Maison Margiela – Replica Beach Walk
I wanted to try this one for so long and finally managed to do so in 2019. I picked up the travel spray when I was in Miami. I already knew the scent because I had samples before. For me it smells like Miami in a bottle. Like the beach, the salt water, the sand, the sun kissing the skin. This one counts to my new favorites for sure. I’m the happiest at the beach and this scent instantly takes me there.
Gucci – Bloom
Another year and I’m still obsessed with this one. Fell in love with Gucci Bloom the first time I smelled it. It’s a classic floral scent with a powdery twist. I probably love the classic one the most but also adore (and have) the other versions – Bloom Nettare di Fiori & Bloom Acqua di Fiori – I own the Rollerball as well of the classic version, it’s perfect for traveling or on the go.
On my wish list atm is the new one – Ambrosia di Fiori – it’s in a red flacon, you probably have seen it and the hair mist of the classic Gucci Bloom.
Tom Ford – Lavender Extreme
This one is new to me but I’m absolutely in love. I’m obsessed with everything lavender so my hopes were high. The key notes are French Lavender, Italian Bergamot and Tonka Bean. When I read that there’s tonka bean inside as well I knew it would be amazing – believe me, the combination of lavender and tonka is out if this world.
Jo Malone London – Peony & Blush Suede Cologne
Another favorite that I’ve been wearing for years. If you’re into floral scents you have to give this one a try. It smells like a powdery bouquet of fresh cut peonies. This year I discovered when combined with Bronze Wood & Leather Cologne Intense you end up with a scent perfect for a night out or a special occasion.
narciso rodriguez – Narciso Poudrée
My signature scent. Big love, holy grail, ride or die. Deeply obsessed with this one, since years. I always have a flacon at home and of course I own the travel version (the Rollerball) as well. Velvet notes of white jasmine and Bulgarian rose, the heart of powdery musk and finally vetiver and woody white cedar as base. It’s just divine.
did you know?
And to all my lovely readers from Austria – did you know that Sephora Germany finally ships to Austria now? Just in case you haven’t heard yet. I was really excited about that!!
