Miami Beach is one of the places that makes me instantly happy. Over the past years I collected a lot of photos from South Beach and I selected a few that will make you want to visit Miami Beach for sure. For me it’s the perfect mix of city and beach life and I’m obsessed with all the art deco architecture. I hope you’ll enjoy!!
The Flight
itself can be very amazing especially if you fly over The Bahamas. Just magical, 1000 shades of blue and turquoise.
The Architecture

art deco
is a style of visual arts, architecture and design that first appeared in France just before World War I. During its heyday, Art Deco represented luxury, glamour, exuberance, and faith in social and technological progress.
In the United States, Art Deco buildings are found from coast to coast, in all the major cities. The City of Miami Beach established the Miami Beach Architectural District to preserve the colorful collection of Art Deco buildings found there. The Art Deco District is the largest collection of Art Deco architecture in the world and comprises hundreds of hotels, apartments and other structures erected between 1923 and 1943.
The Beach
The water is warm enough for swimming all year round. We love especially the months of September and October, it’s not too hot anymore but hot enough to spend all day at the beach and in the water.
The last years we also visited a lot in February and had amazing beach days in this month as well.

The sunrise
is simply magical and I try to catch it as often as possible when in Miami. The streets are almost quiet and everything just wakes up.
The sunset
sometimes even more magical than sunrise for me. Amazing shades of pink and orange hues. Probably my favorite time of the day in Miami. Taking a walk in the neighborhood or at the beach during sunset is a must.

The Betsy South Beach
We’re just head over heels in love with The Betsy Hotel. Our first stay was in April 2015 when we got married in Miami. This September we stayed again here. They had a big remodeling going on and everything is even more beautiful.
Pure Miami Vibes
strolling around through the streets of South Beach gets me every time. You’re able to find a photography worthy spot on every corner.

Wynwood Art District
Visiting the Wynwood Art District is a must – it is one of the largest open-air street art installations in the world. Every second Saturday of each month, there’s a community-wide art walk. Galleries, art studios, alternative spaces and showrooms open their doors. It’s such an experience!!
heading home
is never easy for me and I’m always looking forward to be back.

Ich persönlich liebe September od. Oktober 🙂 wir sind aber oft auch im Februar, da ist das Meer etwas erfrischender als im Sommer/Herbst. April war auch super.
Wunderschön, eine Reise 🧳 nach Miami wäre super.
