The bulletproof lipstick formula feat. Pure Color Desire Lipstick

Pure Color Desire Rouge Excess Lipstick Estée Lauder

Nothing beats a classic lipstick. Over the past years there’ve been so many trends regarding lip products: from metallic formulas, over lip stains, to liquid lipsticks. But let’s face it, at the end of the day we always reach for the staples. So I teamed up with Estée Lauder to try out their new Pure Color Desire Lipstick range.

Back to Basics

Beside staying power the most important thing for me when it comes to lipstick is the feeling on the lips. And as much as I love liquid lipsticks because they won’t move, I see myself reaching a lot more to the trusty creme lipsticks again. They feel so comfortable on the lips, you can easy reapply a little on the go and they even look good after hours. A classic lipstick formula is no biggie to take care of, what is very important for me.

It’s amazing to see that the makeup industry still is working on new, better formulas, like the Pure Color Desire Lipstick range from Estée Lauder. Packed with 25% intense pure pigment, the shades deliver bold colors but a creamy-rich formula that feels hydrating on the lips. You’re able to choose from 24 shades from the classic red to pink and nudes.

There are two finishes:
Creme (creamy satin) and
Chrome (creamy pearl shine)

I tried Rouge Excess (#304 – a classic red that every women needs). And Love Starved (#312 – a deep berry toned red with the Chrome formula). Both pictured here in my photos. You can find them online or in Austria at the store Müller. If you’re on the hunt for a new lipstick with a bold color payoff you really should give this new range a try!!

What lipstick finish do you guys love the most? Have you tried the Pure Color Desire Lipsticks from Estée Lauder yet? Let me know!!

much love,
Nika

I usually go for nude colors only. But, I would love to try out these suggested bright shades also. Thanks for sharing.
